Removing tape residue from a nitro finish

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to remove tape residue from a nitro finish without harming it? It was blue painters tape, but it still left residue. >:( :fp:

Naptha, commonly used as lighter fluid. But sometimes common lighter fluid will contain other not-so-nice stuff.
