Hello,
Just a trivial question on instrument cables.
For my new Jazzmaster, I'm happy playing double hooked cables. Yet looking for a new cable (Mogami), it appears that double hooks are a rarity in shops. Futhermore, some even advice against using hooked cables on speaker side.
A hooked cable works perfectly well for both my VOX AC15 and new Boss Katana 100 (which is awesome by the way).
Though a dangling one looks more cool I admit
What are the forum players experiences/recommendations?
Thanks!
(not sure if this is the correct subforum)

Re: Instrument cables - hooked or not?
I prefer the hooked ones gtr side, the amount of times I've broken the plastic scratch plate on a fender blows my mind.
for some reason with the right angle'd ones it's never happend to me, most of my amps is a pain to have an angled connector, you always need backups anyway, gets to a point where it doesnt matter all that much to me ~

Re: Instrument cables - hooked or not?
I'm from the "whatever's cheap" school, but if paying any actual money for a guitar cable I'd want a right angle on the guitar side. The only guitar I have where that wouldn't be better is my Strat that rarely gets played.
A straight plug with a Jazzmaster looks pretty tacky, but I haven't had any real problems with it.
