Re: Current state of WRHB pickups
I've just ordered a set of Novak repros with threaded CuNiFe rod magnets to be installed in a Tele Deluxe I'm building for a bandmate. I have a vintage Starcaster that have the real deal, but they're a bit hot for my taste though. I stick to my JMs most of the time.
Someone knows where I can find the nearest woodchipper to throw my pieces of junk into?

Re: Current state of WRHB pickups
Did the magnets come out of an old set of pickups? I was under the impression there was no new CuNiFe these days. Not that it really matters too much.
Cheers!

Bummed that I missed out on Telenator. Decided that this year I'm going to build a thinline Deluxe, was going to splurge on a set of the Telenator CuNiFe pickups.
Set an alert for Reverb to find originals instead.

Get yourself some Novaks, and put that extra money you saved into a painted body, because that's honestly probably what the difference will be.
Or just wait to find a pair of vintage originals. They run just about what a new set of Telenator CuNiFes cost.
