Where to buy it?

Re: Coloured cloth wire
And for reference, here are my favorite wiring schematics from Fender themselves:
Pure Vintage '65 Pickups:

AV65:

Classic 60s/Road Worn:

One thing of note. If you look at the schematic of the Classic 60s/Road Worn, you'll notice that it doesn't have brass tubs for shielding - it has conductive shielding paint instead. If you run the stock guard, the wiring is fine the way it is, but if you replace it with an aluminum guard or the thin aluminum shield from Fender that goes under a plastic pickguard, you will have problems. The only change that you will have to make is to remove the ground wire from the back of the rhythm volume pot and all will be good. Not sure if it creates a ground loop or what, but the results are not good! Also make sure that if it's an anodized aluminum guard, that you remove some of the anodizing on the underside of the pickguard so the rhythm bracket can make contact with ground.

Re: Coloured cloth wire
Thanks mate! Since posting, I also discovered that Darren Rileys also carries coloured cloth wire.
On the topic of those wiring diagrams, is it possible to find an index of all the stuff on the fmicassets site? I can't find one.
Cheers!

Re: Coloured cloth wire
I've never tried looking for the index, so not sure on that one. If I'm looking for a specific schematic, I generally just search the model name plus the words "service diagram" or "service manual".
