PuP Swap in Squire JM Baritone

Post by Fingashredder » Fri Sep 29, 2017 2:22 pm

Has anyone swapped their PuPs in a Squire Bari?

I am trying to find a good replacement for the stock PuPs because they are to thin. I am wanting a better low end, tighter and a more even response across the whole range. I usually favor P90s for Baritone as they have more a pronounced low-end and omph in the mids. There are a few people who make the JM90 style but it all the reviews and sound clips you lose the character of the JM style PuP.

I have looked at the reviews on the forums, but I'm looking for specifically someone who has experienced this kind of swap on a baritone.

Thanks in advance!

It's Squier, says so on the headstock.
