Strat Two Point: Parallel or Tilted?

For upbend; do you raise the pivot screws so it floats above the body, or just adjust the tension screws to make it tilt? What's your choice? Why?

Pivot bolts as low as possible (I want the lowest forces on the bushings, so as little leverage as possible), and tilt the plate a tiny bit, so there is a 2 à 3mm gap between the top of the body and the bottom of the bridgeplate.
