Sealed pickup covers

Hi! So my jazz bass has the regular pickup covers with exposed pole pieces. I wanted to give it an all black slicker look and get those sealed pickup covers that doesn't expose the pole pieces.
Would that work? Would it affect/muffle the pickups sounds in any way or not at all?

No, hole-less pickup covers will not impact the tone of your pickups. Plastic is inert magnetically and having unexposed poles will do nothing to change the tone.
