Lots of different info around here thats largely or even mostly on point, but I'd like to hear peoples' specific experiences installing a Staytrem bridge on their classic 60s Jazzmaster. Can I just order the 7.25" staytrem bridge and drop it in or do I need to also order a special thimble? The staytrem site is a little confusing because it say "some MIM models have 7mm holes which will not fit" but it lists the neck radius of the classic 60s model, implying their bridge will work on it.
Thanks!

No new thimbles needed. It oughta drop right in.
This is an excellent rectangle

Mine dropped right in. I also barely had to touch the intonation. Crazy close right out of the box. Very very good bridge and well worth it

The bloke who runs Staytrem (John) is a really nice guy, and if you did accidently buy a non-fitting item, I'm sure he would exchange it without question. He did it for me in the past, when I messed up an order.
