Hi,
I have a Marr Jag that I got in trade recently, and although I love the guitar I notice that the G and B strings sound just a bit muffled compared to the others. Like, very slightly muted. This happens with open strings and fretted notes, so I have eliminated the nut, and the strings are seated properly in the saddle grooves. The tremolo seems to be properly adjusted, and the guitar returns to pitch (within reason) after tremolo usage).
I'm not using any crazy string gauges - I had it strung with 11s, and I went down to 10s to see if that would help, and I don't think it changed anything. If it improved, it was only slightly.
Is there anything else I can try before having to turn it over to a tech? I suppose I could do the Mastery upgrade but I like to keep things stock when possible.
Just wondering if anyone had any thoughts. Thanks.

What's the break angle look like over the bridge? I find that the higher strings suffer more audibly from a low break angle than the wound strings.
