Interesting story about that one Z - I bought it from a Bosnian soldier, its a 1963....had a couple of frets missing, other than that it was fine.
But the body is very beat up, but very nice.

Yeah its a faded Candy Apple Red from 1966 (neck was dated Oct 66), it was real nice to play.

I had a Jazzmaster stamped OCT66...it was also CAR!
the body was a CAR refin, but the headstock front still had the original CAR colour/faded out decal
they were sisters!!!
