Did I say in this thread if they come out with a Sterling version I'm buying one? I said it out loud to my friend.

Never noticed the "facets" in the top before. Pretty cool.

i played a show where a friend was playing this guitar. my god it sounds great. i've heard him play with enough teles and strats to have a general idea of the rest of his tone for comparison. blown away, but it's too heavy on the wallet until now. the sterling is so tempting. i might look stupid playing it, but I don't care. I still really like the 2 bucker Albert Lees Ms. Clark was playing, too.

^^^

I thought it was a pretty interesting article and the early stuff about female singer songwriters versus guitarists ran pretty true to me. She didn't even get into the shop experience many women are faced with when deciding to try a guitar. I've seen my daughters get leered at, mansplained and patronised routinely in music shops and I doubt they were alone in this. Don't get me wrong they meet such attitudes head on but it's still an a more unpleasant environment than it should be.

Sadly the comments are clogged with what you Americans call douchebags. Some of it is quite funny though, real guitar dude writing in to Guitar Player circa 1985 and it's probably a hot topic down the Ibanez customer clinic.

You know I think this guitar is a bit like some cars where it doesn't really photograph well in isolation and only starts to make sense in context. When you see it on her it makes a lot of sense and the disconnect between the body and the corporate headstock which I'd categorise as Roland Mouret dress with Smurf hat, seem less jarring.

Oh and btw that bikini dress Guitar World cover is very cheeky, charming, knowing and funny. Well done!

This is a killer move by Ernie Ball / Sterling $599.

I was hoping that tobacco burst was gonna be in the lineup.
I guess it'll have to be blue.

Blue is my favorite, but this got me all excited thinking it was blue with a black guard. That would be sweet 8)

When I first saw these I thought they were hideous, but the design has grown on me. I still wouldn't buy one, although that rosewood neck is tempting.
