It's got this Pokemon vibe happening with it.

To my eye the overall design is.... A bit busy I guess would be my description.Bits of Firebird,Fender-ish neck/headstock and the shape is kinda like the Tokai Talbo .Interested in the Railhammer pickups, especialy in the Corgan lexicon.

Don't really like the body shape below the waists...and the pickguards emphasize it!!!
But it's some fresh air indeed, and that ain't bad at all.
And the pickups do sound good.

But why are the demo and Corgan hosted by Reverb? Are they going to be omnipotent??

Reverb is one of the top sites for used and new gear purchases. It's just for exposure. It doesn't hurt that CME owns Reverb and are a Reverend dealer.

I watched this yesterday and had mixed opinions...

Billy seems to have mellowed a bit, which is a good thing as he was getting embarrassing.
The guitar sounds awesome but looks awful.

He was playing a Jag live for ages. Wish they'd do something there or just reissue the Corgan signature Strat instead.

Also, the other SP guitarist has something going on with Yamaha guitars. Looks more interesting to me:

Why does the upper horn need a pickguard?

I think those pickguards just cover up routes that are apparently there for tone purposes.

Yep! That's what Joe says in the video. Might be a weight-relief thing too

My expectation when I saw this thread vs. the reality after seeing the guitar left me pretty disappointed. Oh well, at least it's unique.

The pickups are cool. If anyone is looking for a brighter, more articulate pickup to replace a standard HB, these are great.

I'm not sure how I feel about the 4 pickguards, TBH. It might be fun to hide things underneath them though! haha! I've always like the body shape.
I had the first prototype (the blue one that Billy actually gigged with, seen on the Fallon show in April 2015) at my house for awhile and I really liked it. It only had two pickguard 'wings' and I thought it looked cool... but also could pass for a 'super hero's guitar'. Know what I mean? I'm glad they dropped the middle pickup.

Anyway, I really like the way the final version sounds and plays so I'll grab one at some point.

i like it, they look much nicer in the video than in the photo. I'm surprised it doesn't have single coils and a larger headstock though.

Come on, it's fucking hideous. We can all see that, can't we?

I'm never going to read about even one NGD on here and this is the subject. I feel pretty confident in that.
Back in those days, everyone knew that if you were talking about Destiny's Child, you were talking about Beyonce, LaTavia, LeToya, and Larry.
