Fender Jazzmaster, Fulltone OCD, some sort of Fender tube amp with reverb. (I have a Twin Reverb and love the tone but it's a little more amp than I want.)

Jazzmaster>germanium fuzz face (fulltone '69)>'65 deluxe reverb ri.
Not sure which jazzmaster I would pick, as I'm still getting acquainted with my 60's lacquer model. I would miss delay, but heavy washes of spring reverb would suffice.

I've never had the luxury of having a half-decent amp, so for me it's just JMJM -> Big Muff -> Whatever amp with a good reverb.

I hope this doesn't exclude bassists!
I'd go Jazz --> Fairfield Barbershop ---> Bassman 100t (w/ 8x10 of course)

Bass would be a bit harder for me: Jazzy Bee, or Squier VI? Either way, one of those into an EHX Clone and into an SVT of some sort.Birdman14 wrote:I hope this doesn't exclude bassists!

From my gear: Modded MIM Tele>Keeley Blues Driver>Princeton Reverb ... which also gives me tremolo and reverb ... is that cheating?
Blank.

I'd still feel naked without my Cathedral or a delay of some sort.

Oh shoot, I forgot that I almost always have my chorus on....I guess i'll have to replace the Barbershop with my good old TC Corona.NoiseNoiseNoise wrote:Bass would be a bit harder for me: Jazzy Bee, or Squier VI? Guitar: My PSVI with rose Pickups (Magic Dragon neck & Middle Korona Bridge alnico II)
Pedal: Germanium 4 Big Muff (or my bass Big muff - either suits me)
Amp: My Garnet "The Deputy with all the speakers I have hooked up to it (Internal 8ohm cab , 16 ohm Traynor cab with a 12 and a 15 and two traynor columns each 4x8 s - 8 ohms wired in series) - Canadian wall of doom. And trust me I know what I'm doing - electronics background wired up so it plays nice with the 4 ohm tap on the amp.
Oh and it's not covered by the one guitar/pedal/amp part of the title, but the beer fridge stays.

I bet I am not alone in looking at this list, and for every entry, thinking "yeah, that sounds just right ..." !
Must be why I have 10 guitars.

Les Paul (with P90s) > Klon Centaur > Matchless Lightning.
If I can't play very loud, then I will swap the Klon for a Bearfoot/BJFE Model H

Funny - I've thought about that concept just a few days ago while lying in bed...
If I had to go with my own gear, I'd do:
My beloved AV65 JM, my Barber Gain Changer and my 68 Custom PRRI
