Update 10-03-2019:

1963 Fender Jaguar and 1962 Fender Bassman

Image

Pedal - Fender Mirror Image Delay
2023 update:

The '63 Fender Jaguar has a possible sale in the works. If it sells, I'll likely pick my custom build Musikraft/MJT Jazzmaster as my #1 offset guitar choice.

Image

The '62 Bassman has been sold to Daniel (DeathJag), so my current #1 amp choice is my Fender '62 Princeton Chris Stapleton Edition. Every time I itch for another early '60s Bassman (or even another '59 RI LTD ED), I play this Princeton only to again realize I can get the same tones PLUS tremolo. Still doesn't stop my GASsing for an early '60s Concert some day. The Princeton will likely be the last to go out the door when all is said and done. It's really a keeper.

Image

Pedal-wise, I'd have to go with the always reliable MXR Carbon Copy Analog Delay. I have a lot of great pedals, but things like reverb, tremolo, and overdrive can all be gotten from my amp (or outboard reverb unit (not a pedal). A fuzz pedal is another great option but I use delay far more often than fuzz. I have a few different delay pedals (some with other features like reverb, etc.) but the MXR CC Analog Delay does what I need perfectly.

Lately, it's been this:

Lately it’s been the Squier CV70s Jag through a hazarai into an Orange Micro Terror with a 1x8 speaker.
Very cheap and minimalist set-up, but I love the tones I’m getting.

My other more serious set-up is a Gibson SG Standard (2013) through a hazarai into a Princeton Reverb.

The Hazarai was gathering dust for years, but I rediscovered how versatile and fun it is.

Offset??? Easy: Squier Starcaster with upgraded p90s to fit the HB spaces. Put some cool knobs too.

Amp: Orange. ( Very versatile tone. Great driven tone also.)

Pedal: and you guys might laugh at this, but it'd be a Trio+ to write and try out musical ideas and future songs ....

1960 Fender Jazzmaster
1964 Watkins/WEM Copicat MkII
1965 Fender Deluxe Amp

The Copicat has some great tube boost/overdrive, slapbacks and dreamy multihead sounds. If it doesn't qualify as a pedal (it's an effect device but not exactly a stompbox) I'd either pick my ThroBak Overdrive Boost or EAR AD4096 delay.

I giggled almost this exact lineup last year! '84 Rat, a '65 LPB Jag and a 70s Pro Reverb. Can confirm it was wonderful. I'm too scared to take vintage guitars out now though...too easy to lose a big chunk of money with one crafty pair of hands.

For me the guitar and amp are easy automatic choices but the pedal is harder. I think it would be

My 1961 Jazzmaster
Fender Deluxe reverb
Ceriatone Centura (but for playing at home or writing, then probably my Boss Rc1 looper tbh)

I feel like this must be an OSG thing.

I have a '65 Jag (CFM, but my MIJ Jag is LPB) and a 1970 Pro Reverb that's been modified to '66 specs. Just missing the 80s Rat.

Also, I love that your phone autocorrected "gigged" to "giggled."

I really adored your Jag my dude. I am glad I didn't try to spring for it but still think I have pics of it saved somewhere.

Pedal is probably a tough call. Either none or leaning towards the TS9 over the Tumnus.
