Real- Squier VM Jazzmaster> Boss DS1> Peavey Heritage VTX
Fantasy- Fender Jaguar> ProCo RAT> Fender Bassman 100 or Silverface Twin Reverb
Done this thread a few times but its fun to think about rig priorities and what I actually want going forwards.

All I truly need is a good Tele, an MXR Distortion+, and a Deluxe Reverb.

This week it would be a...
Reverend Club King 290 --> JHS SuperBolt (v2) --> Vox AC15C1

Nothing is anything until it is written. After that, it's everything.

AVRI '62 Jazzmaster > Carbon Copy > '69 Princeton Reverb.
The amp has great trem and reverb, can do dirt when pushed, and analog delay puts the ambience over the top. I might want to throw some Novak humbuckers in there, who knows....

My trusty '84 G&L SC-3 > my brand new EarthQuaker Westwood > Fender Deluxe Reverb
I'm sure some Fender dealer in '64 looked at the new Duo-Sonic II and thought, "That's not a Duo-Sonic. That's a Mustang".

Re: Pick your one guitar, one pedal and one amp...
I'd actually settle for a subset of what I have.
Guitar: (Modded) Fender Payer Jaguar
Pedal: Digitech FreqOut (my old Zoom G3 multiFX would be cheating, LOL)
Amp: Artist TweedTone 20R
The Player Jag is a great guitar after tweaking to fix shortcomings like sharp frets, dry fretboard, so-so tuners, trem without lock button, useless Jag bridge etc. Mine now has a replacement Fender trem with the lock button, locking tuners and a Staytrem bridge.
I wish I could have two pedals, LOL, but as my amp has great drive tones I could survive with just the FreqOut. If you haven't tried one, do! They are huge fun and great for noise rock and Billy Gibbons impressions.
The Artist is a light 1x12" tube combo that is louder than one would expect. I first saw it recommended by Shane on his In The Blues YT channel. He was right - it may be derived from the Blues Junior but it's more than a clone and leaves the BJr standing. Great little amp. I'm too old to carry AC30s and heavy sh*t like that. I'll take a small combo and mic it up.

Based on what I have...
Rickenbacker 360/12C63
EchoFix EF-X2
Twin Reverb.
but I'm not a one guitar/pedal/amp kinda guy, so I'd change my mind after about an hour.

Re: Pick your one guitar, one pedal and one amp...
I probably posted in here already and I probably already posted this exact list.
If I was forced to go with only one of each, I'd go with:
AVRI 62 Jazzmaster
Princeton Reverb
MXR Carbon Copy delay
For the guitar, I would also be happy with a Telecaster or Rickenbacker 330, but I picked the Jazzmaster, because I'm a frequent vibrato user and the neck pickup tone on a Jazzmaster is divine for clean tones.

OK I'll pile on. My '62 AVRI Jazzmaster and my 1997 Made in UK Vox AC15.
As for only one pedal, that's harder, because we have to choose between types of pedals-- fuzz, delay, flanger, wah, etc. I'm gonna go with the EHX Deluxe Memory Man. If you'll let me bring a second I'll bring the Earthquaker Hoof Fuzz. But I really need to bring a few more to do my thing, especialy with just one amp.

I had a tough time picking a single effects unit as well. Thought long and hard and decided I would go with an analog delay, since I can get decent dirt from the amp alone at medium to high volume.Ice Tre wrote: ↑Sun Mar 29, 2020 8:57 pmAs for only one pedal, that's harder, because we have to choose between types of pedals-- fuzz, delay, flanger, wah, etc. I'm gonna go with the EHX Deluxe Memory Man. That being said, I would have a hard time living without fuzz and a good dirty distortion unit.
Would also miss modulation, such as phaser (my personal favourite modulation effect) and flanger. Not too big on chorus. Reminds me too much of cheesy 80s music.
