Yeah! There's some cool stuff there!

Pure Salem had some xlnt videos. Very good looking & sounding Guitars. Quality Parts. Interesting combos of Pups, Trems, Vibratos, Maestros Body styles. The pricing is very good. Impressive.

I sent Dave's an inquiry too, waiting to hear.

Thanks,

L

As stated previously in the thread, PureSalem guitars are not US-made, though I do believe they are a US-owned and operated company.

Yeah, I doubted they were USA built. Pretty impressive video Demos from Pro Guitars. Well done. Would love to see Fender do that with their Fender & Squier Jags & JM's.

I guess one of the things that turns me off about the Squier VM's is the lack of really good Video Demos. Most are very poor as is the Guitar sound. The GC's locally don't stock jags or JM's. So I haven't been able to road test any.

After looking at quite a few of the different Companies listed there are some wild configurations. Some really cool ones! Not many have configurations with at least one Jaguar type Pickups from what I see or did I miss them?

Thanks,

L

Most of the companies can do custom work, myself and Kauer included. We might not have ever done anything with Jaguar pickups (I have actually, but not recently) but you can always order something made just for you.

BiLT has stuck a fair amount of Jag pickups in their builds.

Love the looks of both the Danocasters and the Bilts. Pretty tough to find the perfect used one though

Toward the higher end of the price scale, two of the models made by James Trussart in his LA shop are Offsets:

The Steelmaster:

And The Steeltelemaster:

Each Trussart is available in any number of custom combinations of options: finish/engraving, pickups, wiring, etc... No two Trussarts really look alike. Each Trussart really is a unique work of art.

I am a real fan of James Trussart's work - I have three of his guitars, though none of them are his offset models.

DiPinto is making their guitars in the USA now. They have a pre-order page for some of their Galaxie models on Reverb.com.

Those hand-painted guitars look amazing. I'm not much of a hippie, but I'd play one of those :)

Yeah, dude. I love the painted ones, and the variations on the short scales that he makes.

Cool video about him, if you have the time to watch:

I'm intrigued by these.

Not in the budget though.

Revelator also makes JM-style guitars and has a new hardtail Nitro Jet model that looks pretty sweet.

If you look around on Reverb you'll find a bunch of small batch American builders that make some seriously great guitars with American and sometimes a mix of parts from other countries for not a whole lot of money. And offset. There's a guy here Nicksureal making some cool original stuff for cheap .
Not sure if you're looking at ultra premium American made or not. If you do some research you'll discover theyre not as rare as you would think.
