XII Bridge
Hi. I'm gonna try and make some XII bridges and I was wondering if anyone had some good closeup photos of one. Any help would be much appreciated.

I'll be your first customer. How much do you want for one?

I'll let you know when I've finished one. It should be pretty reasonable though.jrkirkish wrote: I'll be your first customer. How much do you want for one?

Re: XII Bridge
There are a few on other threads including some measurements that I took of mine. This is a hot topic here as of late!

Just out of curiosity, you will be making 3 parts (the string retainer in the back, the saddle rest and the actual bridge plate with saddles), right?
If this comes out good, you may be able to make some serious coin off of some people here.

I'm gonna try and make as many parts as I can, including the string tree.
I found the bridge tracing but I can't find and photos that show a good view of the whole bridge.

And some more
These three show the complete bridge minus the block and the rear-mounted ferrule plate (which are in the fourth photo).

Cool. Thats a start. I'd really like a pic of the plate without the saddles on it, if anyone has one.

Re: XII Bridge
Once upon a time I had a Squier Venus XII. I took some photos of the body which show the bridge routing. They're huge so I'll just post a link which you can browse rather than posting them here.

Re: XII Bridge
my guess would be the same as other fender bridges.... 1/16th of an inch.Val66c wrote: Can anyone tell me the thickness of the steel plate?
Yeah, it's gotta be 1/16th of an inch. Thats what it is on a strat bridge, a tele bridge, a musicmaster bridge (which is what I just measured...)
It would just make sense that it would be 1/16th of an inch.
