Hey, I only know because I have one and can whip out the tape measure on it. What's 1/2 inch anyway? Not enough to really matter

I've owned a MIJ Bass VI and currently own a Jaguar Baritone. The Jag Bari scale is short for bass, but heavier strings can compensate. Also, I installed a tremolo on the Jag Bari, it's not a difficult job.
As an aside, there's a surf band in Fresno, California called The Neptunes, a three piece group featuring two double neck Danelectros. Cool shtick.

How much do bass VI's go for in the states, usually?
I'm in Canada and I can get a pretty good deal on one(half the cost, two years old, rarely used, with 12 sets of strings).
Just wondering.

The reissues from Japan have been going for around $1500 USD or more. The vintage ones are so high I've stopped looking (like $4000-5000 USD or more). How much can you get this one for?

Ah, the Jaguar Baritone sells new for $699 USD with gig bag. I've seen them go for about $500 used on Ebay.
