There's no question. By hook or by crook, if they release the Swinger it will be mine.

I'm on the lookout for a sparkle jazzmaster. I've already plunked a deposit down on an Eastwood Moderne, so...I've got that going for me.
Twang, Reverb, and Echo - it's where it's AT!

A JM with a traditional bridge and vibrato and full sized lipstick pickups provided it’s not some silly expensive Custom Shop thing.

I love offsets but that one would certainly get my attention.wadeaminute wrote: ↑Wed Dec 04, 2013 7:35 pmHere's one - the Mexican Fender Esquire in white blonde, but with a rosewood board and a black pickguard.
I have an absolutely wonderful white blonde Classic 50s Esquire with a maple neck like a mid 50s original. A similar one with a rosewood board would get my money, except it would have a white pickguard with the rosewood board to replicate the late 50s/early 60s Esquire versions. A change of pickups to something voiced like those of the particular period (like I did with my 50s Esquire) would make for a great playing fun guitar for a reasonable price. A shame they stopped making the MIM Classic 50s Esquire model a year or two ago, but probably most buyers opt for the 2 pickup Tele without any idea of the versatility and tonal differences that can be achieved with the Esquire and its unique tone circuitry. Used MIM Esquires for sale are not that common these days and those that do show up sell pretty quickly and bring good money.
A Classic vibe version of the Jazzmaster (or Jaguar) in a different original custom color than is offered in the VM offsets would get my attention too. Even better if it had a matching headstock like my LPB Classic Vibe 60s Stratocaster. That one is a seriously good strat for little $$. I would love a CV JM or Jag in Ocean Turquoise! They would probably hurt sales of the new Player line of offsets tho…..

A mexican standard JM or Jag with rhythm circuit, correct pickups, trem placement, bridge and for the same money as a normal standard series Fender guitar.

Jag-stang. Preferably Squier, but I'd buy one at any reasonable price point.

I'd love to see a redesigned Jag-Stang. Fix the body issues, make the upper horn more Jaguar like, and over all smooth it out. Angled Jaguar pickups and vibrato. Mustang like pickguard, maybe with a chrome Jag plate on the upper horn for some switching options. Maybe even a 4 way selector like the JM Jag or AmPro. Preferably made in the US, but Japan or Mexico I'd still buy.

That would be great! I'd prefer low end and as mod-able as possible rather than US made, but if Fender/Squier bring back the Jag-stang, I'd literally get my local shop to order one on the day they're announced. And I'm not misusing the word literally.DiAmoroso wrote: ↑Sun Jul 08, 2018 10:55 amI'd love to see a redesigned Jag-Stang.
