Listening now, good stuff! Kinda reminds me a bit of Dungen or some 70s prog.MechaBulletBill wrote:Cory Hanson's band Wand are really great, especially live.

I had never heard of the band UT, but I stumbled on this picture (while doing a search for Kleenex), and found them on youtube. Great NYC no-wavey type stuff.

I was wondering the same thing. It kinda looks that way. There aren't a whole lot of pictures of them out there, but there's another one in this video:MechaBulletBill wrote:Is that a jag w/ jm pups?

I'm sure this isn't the first post, but I saw the band Cymbals Eat Guitars live a few months ago and they absolutely blew me away. Very good live. The lead singer has an AVRI JM and CP JM.

Good catch! I hadn't seen this article before, and figured since he's had it forever, it would have been something relatively cheap.O Drones wrote:Isn't it an AVRI 62 Reissue? https://reverb.com/uk/news/gear-spotlig ... d-bigsound

Those look like M3s or Mosrite pickups.daemon wrote:I was wondering the same thing. It kinda looks that way. There aren't a whole lot of pictures of them out there, but there's another one in this video:MechaBulletBill wrote:Is that a jag w/ jm pups?

The guy from Iron Chic plays a Jazzmaster with some of the worst mods ever. A stop tail plate which is then somehow used in tandem with a Buzzstop?? That makes not sense. Rhythm stuff removed and some sort of mini humbuckers added. Great band!!
