I'm having a guy refinish my SG in a similar shade and indeed all the pics he sends me are some kind of turqueoise! He swears it's green in person LOL

Yours is looking great so far!

I don't know why it is so hard to get pictures that are color accurate with this color. I don't feel like I have this problem with my other guitars. It is a dark green in real life. Almost black looking it is so dark. The roundovers and contours show off the metallic green. It might be a bit too dark for Sherwood, but it is hard to say because so many pictures of Sherwood look different to me. Some look dark green, some look lighter. I ended up just picking a dark green metallic that I liked the color of. :)

It looks awesome so far!

Have you done refin work before? I really badly want to order some flake finish of some kind to spray over my surf green VM jag but the thought of me totally ruining it in every way makes me hesitant.

I have and it doesn't always work. (Kinda why I only do it for myself in case I mess it up.) I think it is fun though! :)

That green looks amazing! :?
Can't wait to see it finished.
I was GASing for a Vista Jagmaster a while back and always dreamed of what it would look like in green.
nice work!
May the Fuzz be with you

Got it all done today. Hard to type because my hands are sore from all the wetsanding and polishing. :) I am really happy with it. Not a flawless job or professional job, but I think it looks pretty nice. :D The "Detroit" neck plate is for street cred. The color is cool. It looks green, but in light can look turquoise, and in low light it looks almost black.

Looks ace. Had a CAR Vista Jagmaster many years ago, never should have let that go.
