Does anyone know a resource for JM and Jag production numbers by year?

Don't mind him, they have a strange sense of humour south of the border.

:P

In all seriousness, I'm not sure if anyone knows .. Doug?

At a very rough guess, based on the fact that the Jag/JM were top of the line models in the early 60s, I'd say they still would have been producing fewer numbers than Strats/Teles at that time (you can expect to sell more of your cheaper units, right?) .. then once Hendrix killed surf music and the demand dropped off then production would have been wound back as well, postCBS.

Do you think that Fender had records of this.  I would have to think yes.  Did anyone ever attempt to locate this data.  I think this could be very interesting for the hobby.
