ishibashi orders to US?
hello, little new here...finally taking the first step to offsetdom and running into troubles.
anyone have experience ordering from ishibashi to the US?
trying to place an order, it wont let me add anything to my cart. the web page seems to translate but when i click the button with the cart on it, i get this page

and cant do anything...have emailed them, waiting for response.
im sure there has gotta be a way to do this, as it seems this is the most popular/only place to buy CIJ's for cheap?
also, what kind of experience it was buying from them...product as ordered, shipping time etc?
thanks in advance!

.. is the right answer. I've found the best way to approach them is just send an email, they'll probably send an automated reply in Japanese first but soon you'll get someone who can communicate well in English and it'll all run smoothly after that.netwerkingyuppie wrote: ...have emailed them, waiting for response.

and that page you got directed to looks like a standard 404 Error-type page. i'm guessing it's because they don't allow ISPs outside japan to use the standard shopping cart. i imagine that's because foreign orders are a bit of a custom job for them anyway.

hey, sorry to bump the thread. how much did you ishibashi buyers spend in total ordering your jazzmasters from there? i'm mostly curious as to how much the shipping cost to get them stateside.

guitar price + shipping fees (about 16 000 yens from Japan to France) + taxes (22% of total price in France)...hound of winter wrote: hey, sorry to bump the thread. how much did you ishibashi buyers spend in total ordering your jazzmasters from there? i'm mostly curious as to how much the shipping cost to get them stateside.

Guitar price plus 10,000 yen shipping. My CC was charged $701 exactly.hound of winter wrote: hey, sorry to bump the thread. how much did you ishibashi buyers spend in total ordering your jazzmasters from there? i'm mostly curious as to how much the shipping cost to get them stateside.

Re: ishibashi orders to US?
What was the "Ishibashi scare"?
There are several other Japanese stores that used to sell guitars to the US but stopped; not Ishibashi, though. Maybe they're resisting whatever pressure Fender's putting on them?
