Nope!  You should be able to contact Allparts USA or your local Allparts dealer.

I meant that I didn't see them on www.allparts.com yet for direct ordering in the US.
Ahhhhh! I see.

With regards to the accuracy, or not, of the Allparts guard I've just received one I got on Ebay. Comparing it to the gold anodized guard off my CS Strat there are two things that are immediately obvious. The colour of the Allparts guard is a darker gold, in comparison the CS/Fender version is a lighter 'straw' gold. The other thing is that it is much thicker than the Fender version, 1.53mm compared to the Fender at 1.20mm.

Given Fender would have been manufacturing these anodized guards at the same time (late 50s), and presumably in the same factory/subcontractor it would be interesting to know which comes closest to historical accuracy. What is the thickness of a 'real' gold guard for instance?

Anyway, this Allparts one I have is fine for now, I just have to decide if I want to lacquer it like the originals before fitting it.

A real (original) gold guard is .062" or 1/16th of an inch...

Interesting the Allparts Japan guard is thicker.

The Fender Japan guard is very thin... much thinner than the original.

That's the one I was referring to earlier...  :-[

so, the allparts guard sounds better than the Japan guard.

So the originals are lacquered?  I always noticed the 'guard on my '58 Musicmaster to have a unique smooth sheen to it and wondered if it was coated.

I'm curious about this as well. I could just counter sink the holes slightly myself on the other side.
