Re: Johnny Marr Sig Jaguar
When I picked my LPB up 6 weeks ago the switch tip on the four way selector was broken and kept falling off.
The shop checked with Fender who said the whole guitar would need swapping (in keeping with the not being able to get separate parts discussion above).
The shop said that was ridiculous and Fender finally agreed to send a replacement which is due to me in a few days. All for a switch tip!

Ok, thanks for checking jmsrsstr.

Also worth nothing that one of them was out of date anyways - said it was available in white or KO Orange and that was it. So not sure you can trust the printouts anyways. The one below says 2011(!).
No sign of a part number on the bridge either - just an M on the underside.

Had a 9.5 Jaguar, older though considering an American Original JM. The necks feel really nice, I don't even mind the bridge.timtam wrote: ↑Sat Nov 03, 2018 4:47 pmSomeone really needs to try to actually buy one. Original part number (hopefully now 52mm) ....stinkfinger wrote: ↑Sat Nov 03, 2018 9:32 amI did not ask specifically if I could purchase the bridge... assuming that I could.
BRIDGE ASSY JOHNNY MARR JAGUAR 0091905000
Either from Fender or Darren Riley, who seems to be good at chasing down parts (or maybe Angela). And I would trust Riley more than Fender to verify that it is 52mm.
And if anyone has any influence with Fender, a 9.5" radius version would be nice too !

Is the Stock switch tip on the Marrguar chrome/metal, or is it just plastic?

My Johnny Marr Jag has a Jazzmaster-style toggle switch (long story) but as a Tele aficionado I can confirm that Glendale sells some nice metal switch tips in various finishes, as well as a matte-black Bakelite one. They all have tiny little screws to attach them to the switch blade.

Re: Johnny Marr Sig Jaguar
Has anyone tried an American Pro Jaguar bridge.......Darren Riley has them in 9.5 radius (which works just fine on a 7.5, a little flatter at the middle strings)....and a 2 1/16 " string spacing, with Mustang saddles.
I was about to order a staytrem when they suspended international shipping, so I too am looking for a properly spaced bridge. When Johnny Marr himself puts Staytrems on his signature guitars, it's time for Fender to make a 52 mm bridge available for retro-fitting. Take care of your loyal customers.
I like everything else about my Marr Jag.

Anyone notice that the LPB Marr Jag tremolo arms aren't interchangeable between older ones? Also must have a different collet.

This may seem ironic but apparently Johnny doesn't actually use staytrem bridges on his guitars. He does have custom saddles made up however.Maxadur wrote: ↑Tue Nov 13, 2018 7:58 amHas anyone tried an American Pro Jaguar bridge.......Darren Riley has them in 9.5 radius (which works just fine on a 7.5, a little flatter at the middle strings)....and a 2 1/16 " string spacing, with Mustang saddles.

Hey thx for the info. I’m going to have to get a couple of those switch tips.speranza wrote: ↑Sun Nov 11, 2018 9:59 amMy Johnny Marr Jag has a Jazzmaster-style toggle switch (long story) but as a Tele aficionado I can confirm that Glendale sells some nice metal switch tips in various finishes, as well as a matte-black Bakelite one. Oh I was going by pictures on his Instagram site, looked like Staytrems on the White flake Jag, and the mail envelope. The two centre saddle screws being closer together than the others seems to be a Staytrem thing.

Is there a reason why all of these posts are bold?

Hmmm ... blow up this pic on this page from his IG and it does look like a Staytrem. No springs on the intonation screws. Intonation screws not under but offset from the strings.

I guess they could still be custom saddles as @arkivel suggests. But what would be the reason for just Staytrem-like saddles and not the whole thing ?
Direct jpg link ..
BTW according to the comments on IG the blue one with the two extra switches is a (custom ?) jag with the Fernandes Sustainer system like on the Fender Ed O'Brien sig strat ...

Re: Johnny Marr Sig Jaguar
I've always understood it to be that Marr does use Staytrem bridges (and Fender just used elements of the design on their stock Mustang bridge (until recently w/ the 52mm spacing)).
