I've had mine nearly a year and I've really grown to love it. So much so I recently sold my Strat and Jazzmaster, and now I just have the Marr and AV65 Jag as my two electrics (I do plan on buying a ricky 360 12 string, though). I've found I really prefer the short scale and with these two guitars I can get nearly any sound I want. Despite both being jags their tonal range is quite different, with almost no overlap.

My other guitar is a Martin OM-28 and I’m more than happy with these two!

Wow, I've had my JM Jag for eight years now, and it never goes into its case unless I'm taking it somewhere. I just love picking it up and playing it. Unplugged, straight into an amp, with effects, its always a fun and inspiring guitar.

Best birthday gift ever.

Do you have a particular stand to not mark up the nitro, or am I over thinking (or misunderstanding) things? I'd love to keep mine out to for more grab-and-play possibilities.

Oh, man, that knowledge does nothing to quell my recent, pervasive, persistent AV65 GAS.

I love the Marr, but the AV65 is still tops for me and if for some reason I had to pare down to one I'd absolutely keep the AV65 and sell the Marr.

I'm sure that won't help your GAS, but it's the truth. 8)

Here's mine from collection day back in 2018.

Absolutely love it, pairs well with my CIJ Jazzmaster.

In terms of keeping it on a stand, I've had no issues with the nitro on a multi-stand. Doesn't have any special rubber/foam parts as far as I can tell.

No, not really. I just don't fret about it.

I bought mine in 2018 also, indeed a great one :)

New JM Jag colour….?

Image

(Sorry for the poor screengrab)

He says it is “gold mist” - it looks good.

Marr on the Radio 2 Piano room (warning, contains Vernon Kay).

He also says he’s working on a new acoustic, and plays a seven string Martin 000 on one song (presumably with an octave on the G), so that might be the one!
All the cheeses....
