Only $6000.00  !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Shit my Jag was 4800
Dude,I'm making the same Mustang but I'll start with a vintage duo and mustang neck and do it all myself,I'm not doing it to save money but to have fun puttin  together a guitar type that is perfect for my needs.

Its such an easy project my advice is screw the CS and do it on your own! :) Youl save at least $5,000

If ya want new, then buy a new Mustang,JZ trem and a router....Done! Edit: you would still need a duo body because it has no routes, then refin it.

This would be perfect:

The Custom Shop is *way* out of line on that price. You can have a top-build guitar made for half that by any number of extremely talented luthiers.

Methinks (or at least mesuspects) ye olde Custom Shoppe is becoming a bit aloof asking for those kinds of sums. Unless the price difference is being made up by pixie dust, which we all know is truly expensive.

You think you can't, you wish you could, I know you can, I wish you would. Slip inside this house as you pass by.

Times change.  Remember when dog Jimmy used to go white and chalky?  Now it grows hair!  We got used to it. We'll get used to poly. -blueavenger
