Re: 1962 Pink Sparkle Jaguar
I wish I had a way to scan it, but I've got a pic of a "Champagne Pink Metal Flake" sparkle (w/matching head) '63 Bass VI. Serial number is 92125 for anybody who may know where it is. Last time I knew about it ('93), Albert Molinaro owned it.
THAT is freakin' amazing.

Shakira isn't a bad guitarist. It's true she is known more for that wonderful hip shake she does so wonderfully -sigh- But she can play the guitar. She also writes or co-writes her songs.

Times change. Remember when dog Jimmy used to go white and chalky? Now it grows hair! We got used to it. We'll get used to poly. -blueavenger

I just meant she looks awkward playing it in the picture. I saw her years ago on MTV Unplugged and she played guitar the whole time and was not bad, but I'd rather see her shake her hips!~*blissedandgone*~ wrote:Daysleeper wrote: Shakira isn't a bad guitarist. Re: 1962 Pink Sparkle Jaguar
Actually I like her guitar playing better than her hip-shaking.
Gives me pain in the back just to watch it. I always switch
channels when a Shak video comes up.

I does look uncomfortable. Reminds me kind of those lame bejeweled cellphones pretty little girls have...
I like both Shakira's guitar twangin AND hip shakin'.

Al ended up selling that Champagne Bass VI and it is now in a museum in Nashville, TN.
