Ok you break into a sweat when you're lying in bed late at night when you suddenly think of that guitar you wish you never sold...what are yours?

Mine are an all original pink '62 Jaguar with matching head stock (i think it was fiesta red or coral) i swapped for a national glenwood and a '65 electric XII white with matching headstock which i cant even rememeber what happened!

The jag incident happend like 12 years ago and im still sick to this day arrrggh I dont even have any photos! And to this day i've never seen another one!

thats why i will never sell my '75 VI!

Actually i just had a look in the dressing room It looked a LOT more like coral pink than fiesta red!

I"ve been good about keeping my valuable, or favorite guitars, particularly compared with my stupid amp sales of the past.
I do miss my G&L ASAT classic tele, though. It's not the best guitar on the market, but it has a great tone that I often miss. If I buy another guitar, that's not an offset, it would be a vintage telecaster.

I miss the two Jazzmasters I used to have...the '64 more than the '67...but it stayed in The Family, so I don't really wake up in the middle of the night sweating :)

I try not to dwell too much on guitars I've sold....there's usually a good reason when I sell and instrument....with the '67, it was to fund my current '61 (aka my favourite guitar in the world!)

the '64 was due to being broke and having to pay bills.....this was caused because I was changing my career and going freelance (a very worthy cause in the longrun).......our very own Mezcalhead gave it a good home, and also saved my life (or at least my credit rating) by buying it. :)

I occasionaly also miss my old '74 Mustang...it was my first Fender (and first vintage guitar)...but I gotta face the facts...I sold it because the neck was too narrow and my hands are too big....it just wasn't comfortable to play

it's all good, really. :)

I've sold more than I can remember. The ones that I miss the most are a couple Gretsches. The main one being a '64 Double Anniversary in two tone green with a Bigsby. I want to pick up another at some point.

oh man.... I've had some I wish I never got rid of.

The worst was probably my first jazzmaster, it was a candy apple red refin 63' with little flowers painted  all over it, someone had installed a TOM bridge , then removed that , clipped the guard, put on a hardtail bridge, and a reverse headstock maple neck, I got dick dale to sign it..... it was a real mutt but it sounded great and was my first "vintage" guitar...

After that i'd say I also regret selling my Gretsch tennesean (a 67' , it was amazing sounding, very chimey).....

I also regret selling my 67' es-335, but i could never get used to the neck on it, it got really tiny and narrow near the nut, and like a baseball bat by the 2th fret..... :-X

and there not guitars, but I miss my rhodes, and my ampeg gemni...... :'(

A a very beat 65 Candy Apple matching headstock Jag with a green guard. I swapped it 13 years ago for a  Shergold 6 string bass and some cash  ::) ::) ::)

deeply regret it.

Serial number L72224 last seen in Romford, North London where I traded it. Would love to buy it back.

I regret getting rid of the '74 Musicmaster I referenced in Justin's super-awesome line-up thread, but for a little different reason. The person that I gave it to ended up trading it for drugs (H). Said person is alive and well now and I'm glad for it, but the bass is MIA and for what?  :(

You're not alone DB. My dad sold his '66 JB for $150. Granted, he sold it in '72 or 3 but he's still kicking himself in the butt over it. Still.
