Heineken tastes different in different places (probably because of the water used)

for example, I hate Heineken in London, but can't get enough of it when I go back home to Greece....the difference is night and day!

Yes, you're very spoiled. I love a good Belgian white ale. It's my favorite when cost is not an option. I pay $7 for a pint in south Florida.
That's true about location, Zhivago. Sometimes a Heineken is just right for my pallate, while other times it has a skunky flavor to it. Funny stuff.

Oddly enough, here in the States, Heineken in a bottle is almost always skunky, but in a can it's quite good.

A Jazzmaster would be a bottle of fine Bordeaux red, a Grand Cru for sure. Smooth, elegant, knowing.

A Jaguar is a bottle of California Zinfandel, big, bold and a little abrasive at first.

Zinfandel is the worst Rosé available, it's waaay too sweet for my palette. J. P. Chenet Cinsault Grenache is far superior. +1 on the Pomerol though.

I'm talking about a Stag's Leap red Zin; something like that.

Ernest and Julio Gallo white Zinfandel - the Belfast student's drink of choice, besides Buckfast....

Que Mas is a very good cheap red wine from Chili, but I don't know if you get it over there.

keep in mind they cost 1,99 Euro's at a local supermarket. Don't let them fool you! 

it actually won some contests over here, some wine-experts consider it to be the best wine available in dutch supermarkets, and it's also one of the cheapest (I wonder if they manage to keep the price low by cutting the salaries of their employees  )
