after reading this thread I became curious of why someone has to do a lot of work to put a Jm pups in a Jag...then I saw that he uses a buzzstop..now it's clear, buzz stop+ short scale= ultra playable guitar with the sound of a Jm.
..I'm not so entusiastic about that tough.. :-\

yeah i wouldn't ever plan to do it to a guitar...but with the one on ebay if its already been guaged out by some 80's rocker..i suppose no harm in putting some nice lollars or something in there..or even perhaps vintage jm p'ups..what about this body with a coronado neck.is it the same joint?

I wouldn't mind tryng this. After seeing a few people attempt it.
I don't think I would try this on an AV, though. Perhaps just use a CIJ for less risk.
