Which guitar is better looking?

Which of our two favorite objects of our obsession are the handsomest/prettiest in your eyes?

That's a tough one... both are gorgeous..

I used to prefer the Jaguar, for all that chrome and switches......... But I think the Jazzmaster will now have my vote on this one, for its cleaner look has grown on me.

Mmmmmmm. I'm torn between Fender & Gibson in more ways than one!!

I love the Jazzmaster (even though I used to easily prefer the Jaguar).........but I also love the Gibson Firebird VII with reversed headstock (not turning up, turning down) Very rare!!

I also love Mustangs with competition stripes (aged blue if you don't mind).............but the natural, dark wood 60's Gibson SG with Vibrola Tailpiece is equally gorgeous!!

Damn....1968 Gibson Hummingbird, sunburst with a dark back, not the bright cherry red!!! Phwooooaaarr!!

This is getting too painful. Doing the maths I reckon I'd need (excluding what I already have) £10,000 or $20.000 depending where you're at!!

After all this rambling though, the Jazzmaster IS perectly balanced (maybe my headsock could be a bit more Mustangy). Nobody's perfect!!

man, you gotta love all that chrome on the jag, but for some reason that jazzmaster makes me melt. it just looks like a freaking tone machine.

Yes, I do love the whole family, but my baby JM is so smooth looking.
That being said, the Jaguar is sexy with the chrome plates.

I'd date either one really. If they were people, that is.

I adore my JM but I am a sucker for chrome and that spunky short scale neck just says "play me, play me, until you are spent!"

I didn't notice the vote box at the top so excuse my late night drunken ramble further back.

After careful thought I've decided that my Jazzmaster with tele-knobs & a bridge cover has just the right amount of chrome. The Jaguar has a bit too much.

Therefore it still the Jazzmaster for me. That makes in 5 votes each way so far.

i used to think the jazzmaster was the slightly uglier big sister of the jaguar, but i have come to realize that the jazzmaster has a refined, more complex beauty. it´s like the jag is the cutest girl in school, while the jazzmaster is a tall, original looking super model.
