The majority of my songs are in standard tuning, drop D, or double drop D.  I've been messing around with uh... I guess it would be drop C?  CADGBE.  Just standard tuning with the low dropped to C.  I love the sound when I blast that low C, I may have to try double drop C sometimes.  I love all the weird suspended chords that are made easier and odd open chords.  I don't do much past those though.  I would like to try other non-standard tunings, but I don't have many guitars so setups would be an issue.  Someday, someday...

I have used Sonic Youth tunings or alterations thereof for most of my playing days.  Right now I'm in EGDGCC.  I started out with CGDGCD from sy's tabs then changed the low C to standard E after a bit.  I added the paired C's a week or two ago because I remember really liking EEBEBB when I used it last summer.

Open C is better with 11s though for sure, especially for recording because a low C on a gauge 10 bottom string is quite diffcult to intonate/keep in tune. That's not unique to offsets though.
Far from it!  Strats are AWEFUL to keep in tune with lighter strings detuned, or just using rubber band gauges like 7s or 8s.  The Reverend Billy F Gibbons has been using 7s and 8s for a few years now.  Like me, you may find this tonally underwhelming.

YMMV
True dat. I have a squier strat that is a total lost cause for changing tunings quickly. Even with 10s and the trem screws tightened considerably its a complete nightmare. Its much much easier on a jazzmaster. The genius of the trem lock on jags/jms really becomes apparent when you want to tune down quickly mid set. My friends are always surprised how well it holds its tune even under extreme whammy abuse.

My Jag and JM are both tuned to drop D.  My Jag has 11's on it and my JM has 10's w/ heavy bottom.

Full time.

Double drop D is the minimum.

The last short while it's been C# G# C# F# Bb C# and/or C# G C F A C#.

Sounds great, feels great...

It also sounds fucking MINT
What strings do you use? I have Jazzmasters in B.

I'm currently tuning my AV65 JM with Ant II's down a whole step, using Roto Purples (12's). Loving it! OT, I recently installed a Staytrem bridge on it and love that too..

Open C is beautiful, I usually use in on my acoustics because it doesn't always work that well with electrics. Anyway, it's C-G-C-G-C-E.
Back in those days, everyone knew that if you were talking about Destiny's Child, you were talking about Beyonce, LaTavia, LeToya, and Larry.

I was recently at my sister's house, and I asked my parents to bring my dad's guitar because it's one of my favorites. It's a 60s Gibson classical that lately I've been leaving tuned in C standard. I took it out of the case, tuned it, arpeggiated two chords, and my 4-year-old daughter earnestly said, "That sounds really good, Dad."

I had to ask her again what she said, and still didn't know if she was putting me on or what! She's either developing an ear for tone, or all my guitars at home sound like crap..or both!!

I tune down to drop B (or C# standard) on Jazzmasters with a 13-59 set, but I'm wondering if that same string gauge would intonate on a Jaguar.

If I had a non-short scale offset, I would.

I used to tune to B Standard/Drop A with my J Mascis Squier when I was playing in a Post-Metal/Prog Metal ish band. The pickups sounded great actually!
