Neck plate serial numbers......

Post by PorkyPrimeCut » Sun Jan 28, 2007 8:09 am

I've just noticed that my neck plate has a stamped date at the bottom of the plate. Some similar pre-CBS JM's seem to have the number at the top!!

Which is more common & was there a reason for the difference?

Thanks, I thought I'd seen that before, just couldn't find the thread.
