I dunno what's with Fender....maybe I should design a couple of guitars and give them the designs for free!

True.. offset butt, but not offset waist.
Times change.  Remember when dog Jimmy used to go white and chalky?  Now it grows hair!  We got used to it. We'll get used to poly. -blueavenger

Hahaha, all Spinal Tap quotes aside... Nigel wouldn't even play this "metal" monstrosity! I mean, it's like how much more black could this be? And the answer is none, none more black! Hahaha

It's not about the gear! It's about you, your hands, your imagination, your feelings.

That makes me wonder where they got that body shape, because I drew something up like that years ago, only difference was it had 4 single coils, had a JAg/JM trem, and some really oddball switching ideas.

I don't really like it, that shape does not suit itself well to humbuckers, plus it looks kinda like the Martin ES-5 guitars of the early 80's (great looks and electronics, but probably the worlds worst headstock shape).

I think it's simply hideous.  It's as if someone left whatever the actual prototype was in a hot car and it melted into that.
