Re: offset flight case
I would think that a standard rectangular electric guitar flight case with the custom cut foam on the inside would be fine - they're several inches larger in all dimensions from a stock hardshell case.

Re: offset flight case
thx for the info, seems like a good investment seeing the cost of the regular cases

Re: offset flight case
Hiscox make a Jaguar case which apparently will fit a JM also, with a bit of a squeeze.
I have a couple of their cases for other guitars .. you could almost park a car on them without damaging the instrument inside .. you can certainly stand on them without incident, not something I'd do to a rectangular Fender case.

Re: offset flight case
If you look carefully, the actual guitar shape is cutout of foam - presumably if the outside case dimensions fit, you would just need to get the internal sheet of foam cut for your offset and you're off and running.JazzBlaster wrote: it doesn't relly seem like any of these are for offsets though

I have a Hiscox for both my cello and my Jaguar. They're unbeatably good.

my avalon came with a Hiscox case, and my dad's been using them on his acoustics for years - they really are very very good

Re: offset flight case
How much does the Hiscox Jaguar case run in the UK? I bought a tweed typical Strat/Tele-ish rectangular case locally a year ago and it fit my Jag like a glove. But I might sell that Jag and I don't know if it's worth selling it with the tweed one and buying myself a Hiscox or whether I should keep it. I think I paid £35 or so for mine. A friend actually bought it for his JM but it didn't fit - he was happy to pass it off to me, and I was more than happy to have it for my Jag.
