How do you like the Deimel?
The Deimel is more than perfect guitar ! It has a a JM-V neck and P90 bridge.
It is a rocking guitar ! A lot of midrange from the bridge, still keeping the jazzmaster spirit.
It is the lightest and the most resonating of the 3.

Feeling slightly envious !

Hope they all sound as good as they look.

here's a quick comparison between 1997 sonic blue, 2018/19 daphne blue, and 2019/20 sonic grey. i'm absolutely in love with this sonic grey color and now want to trade my JM for a sonic grey AM PRO JM..

I have a 2019 AM PRO Jazz Bass in sonic grey, it's a great colour. I love it. Really suits the classic demeanour of offset guitars IMHO.

The grab and go wall. I have some others that wander in and out depending on the weather or the phases of the moon.

Oh, cool, I always was curious how it would look like irl. Couldn't tell if it was more grey, green or blue but it really seems to be what I wished for. Damn, now I want one of those Mustangs (and convert it to a Duo Sonic II).

that's actually what I want to do. buy a second one for myself, do a matte gold duosonic pickguard with white single coil pickups, the cream witch hat style knobs, and either try hard to match the paint for the headstock, or toss a maple 24" neck on there

finally snapped a family photo, quarantined with this setup(there’s so much more in the other room too... working at a musicmart and prioritizing junk over food will get ya)

l-r
bilinda stang(thanks dren68) - some ‘65(?) and some new bits n pieces, duo sonic with jazz trem.
9 string jm, pieced together from an old coronado neck and a bunch of newer fender bits.
‘71 musicmaster bass, quarantine had me looking for a hobby so i recently pulled the frets off and have started exploring fretless bass - this bass is one of the coolest instruments i’ve ever run across. sounds like a baby electric upright.
‘51 epiphone zenith with the dearmond “guitar mike”
steinberger synapse bass, most recent acquisition. killer recording tool.
amps are a pair of ac15s and a mm bass amp!
lying dog-faced pony soldier.
