Re: Post pics of your guitar family
That Blacktop is tight. The unmatched pickups drive my virgo-ness nuts though...

If I was a byrd, I'd be mighty sore every time they shut the door and I don't think I'd sing...

I haven't had the opportunity to play one, but I think that olive green AmPro jag with the black guard and white pickups is my current favorite guitar aesthetically speaking. Just so cool/unique looking.noisemechanic wrote: ↑Fri Mar 30, 2018 4:00 am

I will tell you, for like, the 10th time, how much I love that photo.

Re: Post pics of your guitar family
Welp, seeing as my last photo got eaten, here's my collection in its current (and most likely final) form.
The Gretsches. 1965 6120, 1966 Astro Jet, 1967 Tennessean.
1937 Epiphone Electar, 1966 Baldwin 601 (a model which never made it past the prototype stages, designed by one of the guys who went on to ruin Gretsch in the '70s), early '70s(?) Eko Ranger.
And finally, my crappily refinished 1958 Danelectro Guitarlin. I'd like to have it refinished properly but I've yet to find someone local who I'd trust enough to do it.

Thanks! It's mostly the result of almost a decade's worth of increasingly elaborate trades, haha!
