Every single Telecaster will have a bridge humbucker starting early June and all licensed Fender dealers will have to retrofit any Telecasters they might have in stock with one, or lose their license, thus finally bringing Fender into the late 20th century.

What if they’re just going to anounce 1 huge fender guitar? Like twice as large as a regular guitar?

I'm going to guess one or more new Signature guitars, hopefully an offset especially if it's a Jag, but more likely another couple of Sig Teles and Sig Strats for the pile 😂
2003 CIJ Fender Jaguar, sunburst (SJAG-3n neck, SHR-1b bridge, 500K lead circuit pots/speed knobs, Mastery bridge, Buzz Stop, Squier JM JM vibrato plate, modified whammy bar)

2022 MIM Fender Meteora, cosmic jade (top mounted input jack added)

All Jazzmasters to receive original AVII headstock, all jaguars to use AmPro switching, all mustangs to be hard tailed and use a three way toggle switch. All offsets to use cheap ceramic strat pickups. Colours limited to sunburst, CAR, and OLY on all models. It’s what the customers want.

If it really is a huge announcement, then clearly they're going to be releasing an AVII Bass VI in custom colours. I can't think of anything else that would create that level of excitement throughout the guitar world.

"To celebrate 70 years of the Stratocaster we are releasing a Stratocaster"

That'll be about it.

Yep, they aren't going to let a 70th anniversary slip past. All those boomers are crying out for a '54 repro so they can cosplay Jeff Beck or some other deity of their making.

It is the 60th of the Mustang though. And the BF Princeton Reverb & BF Vibrochamp. Oh and the 40th of the "master series".
Silly Rabbit, don't you know scooped mids are for kids?

60th Anniversary Mustang would be cool, but I bet they won’t even acknowledge it.

i feel like if they did, it would just be them saying the words "kurt cobain" for 20 mins.

You guys are so cynical.

I’m holding it for an FSR HSS Player Strat in the Am pro 2 colours.
I have nothing to offer anybody, except my own confusion?

Guys, this is a guitar shop, right… they‘re celebrating their birthday… not Fender‘s…
So the maximum I‘m expecting is a FSR - limited color like CME got. Which could be great…Maybe even less. And surely some „great“ deals.

AVII mustangs would be great.

It'll never happen, and they would probably be more than a 70s mustang, but it would be cool.

Mwahaha. Everyone cosplays as Jeff Beck if they're trying to emulate him, because he's highly difficult to emulate. You might be able to get a couple of his techniques in a guitar solo of your own, but you won't get his whole palette because he's got a lot of colours on it.

I think it's wry humour as it's been cracking me up. I hope it is, anyway...

I'd love it if Guitar Guitar were announcing that Squier are releasing a Bass V reissue :?
