Touch up paint for Johnny Marr KO finish?

Post by mywhitenoise » Sun Jan 28, 2024 5:00 pm

My Jag has naturally collected a few dings and chips here and there that don't bother me, but this morning another guitar fell on my Marr Jag and it caused a bunch of chips in a concentrated area. Anyone have recommendations for touch up paint? Or should I just leave it alone?

Consensus will be to leave it alone. Especially on a metallic finish.

I’ve used nail polish to address a major chip that came on my white Marr when I got it used (fingernail sized, funnily enough, previous owner tried to cover it with a very off color) but I’ve left the others be. And there are more pretty much every day it seems.
