I used to hate humbuckers. But i temporarily had one of the gold vista Supersonics and fell in love with that humbucker sound. I hated the gold. This one looks much classier I think.

When I was a penniless teen, the release of the Squier Vista Series (and the Guitar World article) made me dream of a Jagmaster or Supersonic to have something weird and cool like my favorite guitarists. I may have seen those Blonde Limited MIJ ones, but a real JM or Jag was out of my reach, even in my teenage dreams. At that point, I had a guitar, but even a Squier was somewhat aspirational.

Now, I'm a grown-ass man and I have a very nice JM and a hot-rodded Squier Jag, several others, and I don't need any more guitars.

But I STILL want a Supersonic and/or Jagmaster.

Oh wow, I owned the guitar in this photo! One of those "I should've never sold that guitar" guitars.
