What should have been the NGD of a lifetime *Silverburst B&B content*

One of a kind "Azzmaster" built by Deep Seat Guitars commissioned by yours truly that has unfortunately gone missing at the hands of Scandinavian postal services PostNord sometime around March earlier this year on its maiden voyage across Karlstad, Sweden to Berlin, Germany (apparently sending something with tracking don't mean much these days).

This is a truly unique Jazzmaster with specifications exactly according to my preferences and nothing obtainable on any production model out there on the market today. I've patiently waited for this guitar since I ordered it back in the summer of 2018, and although I have been reimbursed for it, to have it lost like this is naturally a huge bummer. I mean I was 25 years old at the time lol. I don't want no money, I want the darn guitar!

Shipped in an original black Fender American Vintage case with orange interior. Cardboard shipping box read Gibson.

Supposedly PostNord went looking in Copenhagen after the German address only to realize that there are no Straße (German for street) in Copenhagen and returned it to the sender in Sweden, and it got lost on its way. Dunno how PostNord confused DEUTSCHLAND with DENMARK but stranger things have happened!

I remember seeing this on Deep Seat / Jazzzprod's site when it was being built and I loved it. Jazzprod has refinished my fretless bass in Firemist Silver and also built me a Bass VI that surely must have been one of his final instruments assembled right before his shop caught on fire. The Bass VI is one of my most prized possessions. He does incredible work.

I really regret not grabbing one of his Marauder 2 builds when they were cheap.

That sucks! I had a similar thing happen (not lost but destroyed by a painter) and I got no money back. That was also started in 2018. It’s being made again by a real luthier and it will end up costing more than a CS, but not as much as Masterbuilt. It *should* have cost around $1800...

Oh that's terrible! How did the painter destroy it? What kind of guitar was it? So sorry to hear, buddy. At least I'm getting almost all of my money back.

Post that Bass VI!!! Haha, yes I remember when he unloaded like three of his guitars for silly money, I wasn't in a position to spend money at the time so I had to bail. Was hoping I'd get to finally experience his work quality this time, but life had a different plan for me and this guitar, haha!

Damn, that's just cold brah, comin' in here all over my sorrow tellin' me you're gonna make an exact copy of my presumably stolen dream guitar. 🤪
But yes, more pricey than a new AO60's, but if find the right parts makers and finisher etc it can still be made much cheaper than a Fender CS.

You have great taste. The first thing I thought when I saw these silverbursts was that they'd look perfect with a Coronado neck because of the binding, blocks and painted headstock.

What a massive bummer.
