Loving all of the thin skins in this thread, not a bad colour among them!

I wasn’t really a fan of LPB (I like IBM better) but it looks nice when the lacquer yellows, in fact it looks almost like OTMrbrcbr wrote: ↑Sat May 16, 2020 10:18 amI'm starting to think that a OTM is up there with LPB for fav blue/green custom colors, I'd almost take OTM over LPB at this point. Either one of these or the Charcoal Frost thin skins will be in my possession one day.Debaser wrote: ↑Sat May 16, 2020 8:45 amYes I think Ocean Turquoise Metallic completes the list, my favorite Fender color, or at least top 3. I have one, love the big neck. I don’t really care so much about it being vintage or not—they already walked away from that with the 9.5” radius. I imagine there was more variability anyways at that time, so one can’t just take a handful of data points and infer all were a certain neck size.

Looks great to me but pretty wild. I played with putting my Sptifire on mine, an older thick, crazy 60s burgundy I guess. I sold it instead and bought some pedals and lunch. Kinda wish I went for it.

It's really caught my eye lately. This didn't help one bit: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DWL_uyf1QCw. There's a Thin Skin OTM that popped up on reverb just now and I'm so tempted to buy that with one of the credit cards that I just paid offDebaser wrote: ↑Mon May 18, 2020 10:17 amI wasn’t really a fan of LPB (I like IBM better) but it looks nice when the lacquer yellows, in fact it looks almost like OTMrbrcbr wrote: ↑Sat May 16, 2020 10:18 amI'm starting to think that a OTM is up there with LPB for fav blue/green custom colors, I'd almost take OTM over LPB at this point.
