I cant understand why they wouldn't include a JM body with rhythm circuit in there. Maybe they're afraid it will cut into their AO and Ultra series sales numbers.

I probably won't do it, but I'd love to have a JM with a rosewood board in Mystic Seafoam. I realize one can replace necks and bodies, and have done that quite a few times, but I'd like one built that way vs. partscaster.

That's probably part of it, in general they're making additions pretty conservatively and the customer service rep I spoke to said all of their models are based on the American Professional lineup. I had asked if they would add clay dots ever and he responded with "No" and it was due to the base models being AmPro. I'm going to assume for now they won't include the rhythm circuit unless they add new base models.
