Yep, the mustang and bronco basses are as small and light as they get.

If you’re willing to go all the way to the bottom, the Indonesian Squier Jag basses are the lightest basses I’ve ever held. They need tweaking and electronics upgrades for sure, and there’s a fair chance they’ll crumple if the humidity gets too high. Well, I mean, that’s my feeling, based on how little they weigh.

The Bronco and Mustang basses feel pretty light to me. The VI does too, but maybe I'm just being fooled by the shorter scale.

I had a Bronco once I used for live gigs. Light as they come. Needed a (rough) fret job and a new pickup, about 100 € in total, and there I went.

Agreed. I think the Squier Jag Bass I encountered was lighter than my AVRI Jaguar.countertext wrote: ↑Sat Jul 06, 2019 8:56 amIf you’re willing to go all the way to the bottom, the Indonesian Squier Jag basses are the lightest basses I’ve ever held. It needed a hell of a lot of work to get the neck into a playable state though
