Update on mine - rotary switch installed. I’ve also darkened the pau ferro a bit using furniture scratch repair then fingerboard oil. Happy with the results....

I’ve used the same on a pale rosewood board and Squier Indian laurel boards, and always been pretty happy with the results.

oh that LPB is good looking. i’ve put a deposit on a custom instrument otherwise i’d grab one of these. still holding out hope squier makes one, but honestly these sound like they’re worth the price.

Just scored a blue one off Reverb for a nice deal... Another XII incoming!

Was looking HARD at a vintage modded CAR B&B that had some horrible things done to it, but just couldn't stomach the $4K pricetag, as well as the sellers -1 negative feedback rating on Ebay. (he was also a bit of a wang when I offered a more reasonable sum... good luck to him on selling it elsewhere I guess)

So, with my budgetary confines a bit loosened... I'll soon start posting some multi-XII shots!

Did we ever come to a concensus on a case for these? I'm looking for 3 of them now...

I'm pretty sure I'm about to sell my white one on NYC Craigslist. I'm mostly a bass player and can get around on guitar, but just haven't bonded with this guitar at all. Increasingly feel like a grand is too much to have tied up a guitar that's almost never going to be used. No beefs with the guitar, it's me that's the issue. I'm just curious if the limit supply of these guitars will help avoid the normal haircut of selling a newly bought guitar.

Those are really cool and quite rare, especially in that color (the black version is more common). Arguably they have a better bridge design than the one on the ARXII. I would say the seller is asking too much for it, though.
