Hi guys,
I pre-ordered mine last march and it finally arrived last week!
I was planning to do a video of the first try and, since I just found out last week about wet/dry/wet setups, I figured I would try it all together.
You'll find the video below (I made it today) , but it won't be wet/dry/wet because my splitter just died!

That video was amazing. Great sounds!.

I was really thinking about getting this guitar, but yesterday I was able to find in a local store a new Danelectro 12 "vintage" for a very good price (300$) and pulled the trigger. I am not regretting it one bit. The Danelectro lipstick pickups sound incredible. This Fender 12 sounds great too. A good sounding 12 string is just too much fun.

Finally got to try one out at the MusicStore today. As always, terrible set-up with a 5mm action...

It's cool and nicely built, the demo had a finish flaw at the neck pocket though. Still it feels good and nice but I didn't feel the urge to buy one.
But the Vintera Mustang... maaan it's nice.

Hope to see one on the used market soon...

Not at all. Is yours?
Mind you, I had to push the ground switch on my Lehle little dual, but I'm not sure the noise I originally had came from the XII as I had also modified the effects routing a bit before recording.

FWIW, we were in ARC studios in OMaha on Saturday, and used the 12-string on five songs -- it was very quiet, much more quiet than the Jazzmasters we were playing through the rest of the time.

Mine is noisy. If I don't touch the strings or bridge, it makes a lot of noise compared to my other guitars (avri jazzmaster, squier classic vibe telecaster, dan armstrong, sg...).

Tested with and without pedals, 2 different cables, 3 different amps. Both pickups make noise.

Bad shielding? A 925€ guitar should be correctly shielded.
I had a mij fender jaguar hh special that was noisy and I had to shield it with metallic tape... I'm kinda disappointed

Or maybe bad pickups? I'm thinking about returning it.

My 2018 Traditional 60's MIJ JM was similarly priced and yet, poorly shielded and a bit noisy. I had the shielding optimized. It's a keeper.
Any chance you can try to add a ground lift into your chain, to see if that solves the problem?

Hmm, it's not reassuring, at Thomann it's no longer possible to order the OLW now..., yesterday they said it was no longer available, and today the page has disappeared.

Unfortunately you're correct...GuitarGuitar have only LPB listed now. This was the colour I put a deposit on back in April.

Yes, I put my deposit on a LPB in January, pretty much as soon as it went online. I’ll chase them up - I just asked by web chat before, so maybe a proper query with my order number might get a happier answer. Fingers crossed....
