If they made them in cool finishes I would absolutely find a reason to own more. The swimming pool rout means you can do literally anything with them. My modded Bullet is my second-favourite modern FMIC instrument that I own, behind my AV65. And I actually even like the tone of the Bullet more...it just can't compete with the immaculate neck/finish/fretwork/hardware/feel of the AV for obvious reasons.

The Bullet Mustang is the best guitar for under 150€ ever!

Ok, ok, I'll stop going on about it.

Instead I'll go on about how G&L is still clearing out sets of 3 z-coils for $99, which dropped right in with a pickguard from Pickguardian, who now has a Bullet template for this based on the guard I sent to him. These are among my favourite pickups I've ever played.

I'm gonna keep shilling for them because every time I play this guitar it blows my mind that humcanceling USA-made pickups with this amount of bass and clarity are available for $33 each. More people need to experience them, and a swimming pool rout is just about the only way (the baseplates extend on either side and won't even fit in a humbucker rout).

Oh man, I would have ordered a set of those bad boys several times over if they had bothered to disclose even the most basic info (shipping costs, payment methods & what have you) without having to enter your personal info first.

I paid $15 for international shipping to Canada, and paid via PayPal.

Their online store does feel about 10 years dated, but my overall experience was just fine, they sent a shipping notification when it was sent and I had no issues whatsoever.

Honestly, go for it. They're fantastic pickups, and I haven't even played around with wiring them with each coil in parallel (which they did on the Comanche Studio VI, and reportedly sounds great and even more single coil-like).

Ok, thanks! I certainly wasn't expecting any issues, I guess it's more about the general principle of things (data protection and stuff) and myself not having a Paypal account. I'd really like to try them, though, so maybe I'll give it a try anyway. I already asked the local G&L dealer, but they weren't interested in taking my money.

But back to the CV Jag... A local store will have a grand opening at their new location next month and I'm really hoping they will/won't do one of those "30% off all things FMIC" special offers they did at their previous location.

30% off all FMIC gear? I think I'd be physically incapable of leaving without one of these jags.

Squier is also coming out with FSR Ltd Edition Classic Vibe Esquire in Vintage White

Squier FSR Ltd Edition Classic Vibe Esquire comes in Vintage White finish over a poplar body. The neck is a C profile maple in Vintage Tint Gloss and has 21 Narrow-Tall frets and a 9.5” fretboard radius.

FYI, some of the CV Jazzmasters and Bass VI are listed as in stock on the Fender US site now. I'd expect the Jaguars to be available stateside any day now.

I realize that its not an offset, but Classic Vibe Esquire is pretty darn cool. Love Esquires - have a MIM Classic Fender 50's and have built several from parts.
