Lefty SQUIER Jazzmasters en route!!!!
I talked with southpawguitars.com about any new Jazzmasters or Jaguars inbound from Japan, and he said that Fender is going to announce on Friday about a Squier Left Handed Jazzmaster line!
He mentioned $700.
Let’s see what the options are?
I was hoping for a little more affordability....
EDIT: $400 for Jazzmasters!!

I'm not a lefty, but my dad is. I can appreciate the hassle and extra expense that comes from it, as well as the elbow bumping at the dinner table.
This is awesome news, waaaaayyyyy overdue on fender's part.

Wow, never thought I would see that in my lifetime. Vintage white too. Poplar body is fine. China?

I hope they’ve used/taken the equipment from the Japanese facilities or something.
Things I’m gonna upgrade:
Pickups, bridge, pickguard, knobs, vibrato.
Pretty much double the over cost, though.

Will very likely be made in Indonesia by Cort/Cor-tek along with the rest of the new Classic Vibe offsets.

Well, they're calling them CVs, but they're made in Indonesia like VMs and not by the Chinese factory that made the fabled CVs, so it remains to be seen whether they match CV quality or if they're just VMs rebranded to capitalize on the CV reputation.
However, its way overdue that they're making some affordable lefty offsets.

Re: Lefty SQUIER Jazzmasters en route!!!!
Interesting. I like the white, but do we know if there will be other colors? I've loved the shape and design so much, that I've actually been tempted to make a Jazzmaster for my Jazzmaster guitar. Everything else will be different...

Does anyone know about the pickups on these? I plan on sacrificing my modded Squier Mini for one. Am I going to need to get SD Antiquity II's? Anyone know of a lefty solution for a tailpiece replacement with a locking trem?

Thanks to Fender for making this happen! I'll likely get one (though I already have a great MIJ Jazzmaster).

Re: Lefty SQUIER Jazzmasters en route!!!!
Does anyone know when these will be released? I've never seen nor played a Jazzmaster personally, but the more I look into the gear of bands I like, it's the sound that I've always wanted. If I like this and decide to get one, I'm planning on changing the guard to black, and getting orange pickup covers
