A while back i came across an ad for this duo sonic. Ad was up a long time so i got the price down to what i thought was a very good deal ($300 CDN) and i had to bite. I LOVE duo sonics and have owned a few over the years so this guitar feels like home to me.
This one plays great. I am a big fan of the humbucker, although at first i didn't think i would like it. It's actually pretty clean sounding and a nice option to have for certain songs. neck is rosewood too.
I liked the guitar enough to put some money into it and buy and aftermarket pickguard.

Where'd you get that guard? Dang, black and tort is my thing and this might just convince me to get a newer Duo.

I got the pickguard off eBay from a seller called earlpilanz. He does pickguard for the humbucker version as well as the 2 single coil duos. He's based out of Ireland I think. Fair price and quick shipping.
